divisions in those sectors that offer us strategic opportunity.
Each business cluster has its own focus, objectives and
time horizons. This approach allows us to build strategic capability within our teams so that we are better able to add value to our underlying investments, and to accumulate strategic industry-based positions and synergies. The strategic nature of our Capital, Tourism and Mining divisions are typical of this focus, and require long-term investment. The investments in our Enterprises division are more fluid, and are characterised by management and investment approaches that are similar to those used in private equity firms. |
