CLUB TRAVEL HONOURS MADIBA’S PASSION FOR EDUCATION – MANDELA DAY 2015

“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world,” said the late Nelson Mandela. Following in this world leader’s footsteps, Club Travel took action and collected a phenomenal amount of stationery to support the teachers and learners of Vissershok Primary School, Durbanville.

Vissershok Primary is a rural school where most pupils are children of farm workers and underprivileged communities living in Du Noon, a poverty-stricken township in the Western Cape.

Staff members dedicated their time to packing pencil cases to ensure that each and every learner is equipped for the second half of the school year. Our team was there on their first day back, on Monday 20th July 2015, to hand out the stationery to each learner at Vissershok Primary.

“We are so blessed because each one of these underprivileged children can now have their own stationery. We’re really grateful, thank you Club Travel” – said Mrs Julius, Secretary of Vissershok Primary.
