The launch of Google South Africa\u2019s Mzanzi Experience \u2013 Discover South Africa at Cape Point sees Google Maps Street View venturing into the Table Mountain National Park for the first time, giving its billion plus active montly users the opportunity to walk across Dias Beach and hike up through Fynbos lined paths to the lighthouse to drink in the spectacular view.<\/p>\n

The Mzanzi Experience also enables school children both locally and across the globe to visually experience the story of places that they are taught about in class.\u201d<\/p>\n
Cape Point is just one of the many attractions featured in Mzanzi Experience \u2013 Discover South Africa which Mich Atagana, head of Google South Africa Communications and Public Affairs, said was part of a campaign to showcase the beauty of South Africa as a tourist destination for local and international travellers. The 360-degree images which create the immersive experience were collected using the Street View Tripod and Trekker and can be viewed on phones, tablets or computers.<\/p>\n
