{"id":552,"date":"2015-04-09T12:35:07","date_gmt":"2015-04-09T12:35:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.thebe.co.za\/thebeblog\/?p=552"},"modified":"2015-04-09T12:35:50","modified_gmt":"2015-04-09T12:35:50","slug":"personal-mastery-the-journey-begins","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thebe.co.za\/thebeblog\/2015\/04\/personal-mastery-the-journey-begins\/","title":{"rendered":"Personal Mastery: The journey begins"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I, Lerato Matsau, am excited to be writing this series of articles to assist you in your journey of personal mastery.\u00a0 This is a powerful process that looks at how mastering <strong>YOU <\/strong>is critical to your development.\u00a0 Together \u00a0we will explore the different concepts under this topic, and look at how to implement them in an easy practical way.<\/p>\n<p>I will share with you simple ways that can help you improve both your personal and working relationships.\u00a0The simple truth is that you do have the answers, they lie within you, they are sometimes just untapped. Together we will unearth them and bring them in the open, available to you to use when required.<\/p>\n<p>Sometimes though, it might be advisable you to seek professional help.<\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s spend time on ourselves. By that I am not referring to manicures and facials, but rather our inner selves, our personas, our deep selves.\u00a0 This we do for our own good and for the good of those with whom we interact at home and work. The fact is that being the best <strong>YOU<\/strong>, can catapult you to the highest level of achievement all round.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>We often ask ourselves some of these questions as we navigate through both our personal and work lives:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Who am I for real?<\/li>\n<li>Is it okay to be who I am?<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Am I truly comfortable with who I am?<\/li>\n<li>Do truly I like who I am?<\/li>\n<li>Can I change the qualities I don\u2019t like in me?<\/li>\n<li>Are my good qualities really good for me?<\/li>\n<li>How do others see and rate me?<\/li>\n<li>What do need to learn?<\/li>\n<li>What do I need to teach?<\/li>\n<li>Why am I like this?<\/li>\n<li>Am I really worthy?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you, when reading some of these questions had a physical and\/or emotional reaction, then rest assured that you are not alone. To answer these truthfully is no mean feat.\u00a0 And of course, there is a difference in answering with authenticity and spin doctor answering.<\/p>\n<p>Welcome to the new world of mindfulness and please join us in this journey.\u00a0\u00a0Anxiety, discomfort, uncertainty and fear are common and we embrace and welcome them in this journey.
