Recently the Club Travel and Thebe Directors had the honour of hosting a group of prominent executives and dignitaries at the magnificent Munro Boutique Hotel in Houghton.<\/p>\n

Our opening speaker was Rev Dr Molefe Tsele, Managing Trustee of the Batho Batho Trust and a Board Member of the Thebe Investment Corporation.\u00a0 <\/strong>Reverend Tsele is currently a South African Ambassador and has extensive international experience in addressing conferences and seminars on theological, political and economic matters. Reverend Doctor Tsele holds a Doctorate in Theology.\u00a0\u00a0Rev Dr Tsele had the audience enthralled with his talk on \u2018protocol\u2019.\u00a0 Our guest speaker was a young lady of 24 years, namely, Lumka Msibi.\u00a0 Lumka is a rocket scientist and a qualified aeronautical\/astronautical engineer!\u00a0 Lumka has a twin sister who has recently qualified as a chartered accountant.\u00a0 The girls grew up in Soweto and overcame numerous challenges to live their dreams.\u00a0 Lumka received South Africa\u2019s highest award for young ambassadors and she has travelled to 6 of the 7 continents of the world representing South Africa at international symposiums alongside world speakers.\u00a0 She has been elected to various leadership positions including being appointed the national point of contact for South Africa for the Space Generation Advisory Council.\u00a0 What a humble, friendly, warm person she is and what achievements!\u00a0 Lumka\u2019s story confirms that nothing is impossible and if you can dream it, you can do it!<\/p>\n A good time was had by all and we look forward to hosting such events annually in both Johannesburg and Cape Town.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
