Changes at Thebe Turnstone Drilling

It is with regret that we announce Mr. Piet Lombard’s resignation as CEO from Thebe Turnstone Drilling, due to ill health.  Mr Lombard has served the company in this capacity at Thebe Turnstone Drilling, since Thebe Mining Resources (TMR) acquired Turnstone from its previous owner in 2015.

Mr Sarel de Bruyn, currently the Chief Operating Officer of Thebe Turnstone Drilling, will assume the CEO responsibilities in an acting capacity with immediate effect.

Mr Sarel de Bruyn has spent over 40 years in the Diamond Exploration Drilling Industry, with extensive technical ability and knowledge of the industry and its challenges.  He is an expert on areas such as wedging, surveying, solving of adverse ground conditions, grouting of boreholes as well as exposure to long incline boreholes underground.  He has built his career through Boart Longear as Section Manager Coring, Geosearch as General Manager, CEO of Buenti Drilling, and ultimately joined Thebe Turnstone Drilling as Chief Operating Officer.

The board and management of TMR would like to extend its gratitude to Mr Piet Lombard for his long service and commitment to the company, for all these years.

We wish Piet all the best for the future.
